The recent cryptocurrency World crypto con in Las Vegas rounded up in an interesting situation where two top cryptocurrency investors engaged in a bet, predicting the outcome of Bitcoin in 2019.

Cryptocurrency and stock trader Ronnie Moas who attended the meeting announced the $20,000 bet he put up against $CVC founder Vinny Lingham, saying that Bitcoin will hit $28,000 by the end of 2018. Making the announcement via Twitter, he said ;

“Live from #LasVegas … this was a blast … I bet Vinny Lingham $20,000 that $BTC will hit $28,000 by the end of 2019 | Money goes to charity …”  Replying in approval of the bet, Vinny Lingham maintained his ground “I can’t lose” he said, “if BTC goes that high, happy to pay it”.

In reaction to the bet, cryptocurrency users have expressed mixed reactions, most of which believe that Vinny Lingham will most likely lose the bet. Moas retweeted a user who said “Vinny Lingham is losing that $20k bet with Ronnie Moas, Sorry Vinny”

Considering that the price of Bitcoin has leveled since October and seems to have maintained a $6,400 price, an impressive stabilization that is likely to birth a promising turn out for cryptocurrency investors. A close look at the increasing rate of investment funding also wields a strong possibility that Bitcoin’s price may skyrocket in the coming months.

In the past months, a ton of cryptocurrency enthusiasts have made several predictions on Bitcoin making a bullish move at the end of 2028 and in the following year. Tom Lee, a wall street strategist highly pronounced in the cryptocurrency space had predicted that Bitcoin’s price would hit $20,000 at the end of 2018, a price mark that is $14,000 away from its current price.

Crypto trader Ran Neuner also predicted earlier that Bitcoin will hit $50,000 at the end of 2018, a tweet he later unpinned reversing his statement.
